Remote transmitter suitable only for receivers that have the DIP switch code system used on E-8 control board such as the D1 and D2. Check your control board for the model printed on it.
Easy way to check is open your control box and see if you have a stand-alone black box wired to your control board. Inside the black box will have a DIP switch setup. It may have a white or blue antenna wire about 140mm long

How to tune a new E-8 remote
Step 1: Remove the fastening screw from the back of the NEW remote with a Philip head driver.
Step 2: Do the same with a remote that is currently activating your gate correctly.
Step 3: Locate the white switches on the remote PCB board. Match the setting for each switch of the old remote with the same switch of the new remote. Each switch has 3 settings…top middle and bottom.
Step 4: Test the new remote activates the gate prior to re-assembly.
Check battery is correctly installed and the right way around (red LED light should shine when button is pressed) Check battery condition with a standard volt metre with 12v DC of power.
