Suitable for any normally open activated 12v ac control board such as gate opener, garage door opener, pump etc. You will need the E8 remote for this receiver available from Easysystems.
Changing Remote Codes/adding New Remotes: Inside the transmitter box is a DIP switch board which is adjustable to suit your remotes. If you change these you must also change the remote DIP switch (removing the back panel of the remote) to match. Each switch has 3 positions so care must be taken when setting each DIP switch.
Remote Control Receiver Box: The Easysystems 12v dc receiver has a 2 channel signal represented the yellow or grey wire and white (com) to button 1 and the brown wire and white (com) matched to green button 2. The red wire is 12v positive and the black wire 12v negative. The blue or green wire is the antenna and must not be cut. Button 1 can be set as single gate operation while button 2 set as double gate operation. You can join the yellow/grey and brown wires together to allow either button to activate the desired gate opener.
For Single gate setup wire the Com (white) (centre terminal) and grey/brown wire to the “1/2” connector of a D1 control board.
You can relocate the transmitter box to another moisture-free location to increase signal strength using cat.5 network cable. The green wire is the antenna with a tuned length. DO NOT CUT. Use double sided tape or small screw to fix receiver box to the control box back wall.
Adding New Remotes:
Remove the back panel of a remote (tiny Phillips screw) that is already working to activate your gate.
Match the new remote receiver DIP setting to the current remote DIP
Each switch has 3 positions (top, middle and bottom) so care must be taken when setting each DIP switch.
After the receiver panel is connected to the control panel, check the signal transmission by pressing your new remote.
Changing Remote Codes: Positioned inside your gate opener control box is the remote transmitter box with 5 wires connecting to your control board. Open this up to view the code DIP switches which is adjustable to suit your remotes.
If you change these you must also change the remote DIP switch by removing the back panel of the remote (tiny Phillips screw) and matching the receiver DIP setting to match the remote DIP. Each switch has 3 positions (top, middle and bottom) so care must be taken when setting each DIP switch. After the receiver panel is connected to the control panel, check signal transmission.
