How to set up your new LM 175P Wired Access control
Fitting the keypad
Install cable from control box to the location of the keypad on your wall or post.
Remove sticky white paper from back of rubber gasket.
Position gasket with sticky side with cable through hole in centre.
Remove backing plate screw from keypad body with Phillips head driver (don’t lose the screw!)
The keypad body will be fasten through the backing plate and the shroud. Use the lower dimples cast into the shroud as markers for the screws. You may need to drill the shroud dimples slightly larger than the screw first.
Once you have fastened the keypad cover, shroud and rubber gasket, you can now connect your wires using the supplied press connectors with pliers. Be sure to check you have the wires fully into the connectors before compressing.
For a basic setup you will only need to connect 4 x wires. They can be found on the larger, lower white male plug of the keypad….you do not need to use the upper plug so leave it in the box.
Warning: Always check the correct position of the male plug to the female plug of the keypad by having the red cable in line with the +12V printed on the keypad blue board.
RED = +12V
BLACK = GND
BLUE = COM (gate activation terminal on your gate control board)
PURPLE = NO (gate activation terminal on your gate control board)
The green, white and blue wires in this case will not be needed.
Once you have wired the keypad install onto the keypad backing plate with the original screw.
