Manuals

Adding New Remotes:

Option 1: If you already have an E8 remote that is working correctly on your gate opener, remove the back panel of this remote with a Phillips screw driver and do the same with the new remote.

Match the new remote receiver DIP switch of the old remote to the new. Each switch has 3 positions. Top, middle and bottom.

Option 2: If you do not have a remote that is already able to activate your gate….locate the receiver black box positioned under the control board of the gate opener. Here you will find the DIP switches that you will need to be matching too. NOTE: The red DIP with white switches on the main control board is NOT the receiver!

To test press your new remote button once for 1-2 seconds only. Gate should activate a cycle.

Changing Remote Codes: Locate the receiver black box. Open this up to view the code DIP switches which is adjustable to suit your remotes.

If you change these you must also change the remote DIP switch of all remotes you use. Check signal transmission. To order new remotes see www.easygate.co.nz  Ph. 0800 774 636
