Clifford 500 has an inbuilt limit switch option; where you control how far in and out the arms will travel.
No more need for the centre ground gate-stop.
(note: a gate-stop can still be used with the system if you wish)

Clifford 500 has a built in hinge at the post mount end.
This allows the unit to rise and fall a small amount while it opens and closes your gate, to help overcome small imperfections in gate movment.

• Concerned about power failures?

Being a low voltage gate opener, the Clifford has a battery backup (included). allowing the gate to open & close a few times if you do incur a power outage.

• Backup batteries run flat due to a long power outage?

Clifford comes with keys to disengage the automation system, Thus allowing for manual opening and closing of your gate.

The Clifford is sold with a step-down Transformer Kit making it extremely user friendly and suitable for a wide range of swing gate automation applications.

The transformer is positioned at the nearest power point (up to 80m) from the gate.
A low voltage garden lighting cable (not included) needs to be installed from the transformer to the gate control box located at your gate automation. You can install this cable yourself along a fence, in a garden, across concrete paths and driveways etc with little effort.
