EasyGate's 'Economy 40' Swing Gate is designed for a straight forward, Efficient installation.

The Economy 40 has a full 40 x 40mm alloy constructed frame, standard pickets in a jailhouse style making a cost-effective lightweight option gate for domestic driveways or pathways.
'Eco 40 Swing Gate' can be made to suit double swing or single swing set ups.
Gate kit includes: Powder coating, 2 x adjustable hinges per gate leaf, 1 x drop bolt and 1 x standard D latch.
Gate sizes are based on an installed height when the gate frame is hung approx. 40mm above ground.
Gate Installed Heights from: 1.0m, 1.1m, 1.2m, 1.3m, 1.4m are Constructed with Aluminium round pickets running full frame height top to bottom within a rectangular frame.
Higher Gate Installed Height of: 1.5m is Constructed with Aluminium round pickets running full frame height top to bottom within a rectangular frame with an additional 40 x 40 horizontal strengthening beam under the top rail.
'Eco 40' can cover openings from small pedestrian widths to as large as a 4 meter opening in a double swing design.
Gate frames can have the bottom rail angled to match slope of driveway (Slopping bottom), add 15% onto standard gate pricing to build the gate in this way.
Standard Powder coated colour for an 'ECO 40' is Satin Black, This can be upgraded to another powder coating colour from our powder range.

Design Differences
The construction changes slightly depending on how tall you need the gate to be to ensure structural integrity:
- 1.0m to 1.4m High: Standard rectangular frame with full-height pickets.
- 1.5m High: Includes an additional 40 x 40mm horizontal strengthening beam under the top rail to prevent sagging and add rigidity.
- Widths from Pedestrian gap to 4m post gap as a double swing.
Customisation & Pricing Notes
- Sloped Driveways: If your driveway isn't level, they can angle the bottom rail to match the slope for a 15% surcharge.
- Colour Upgrades: While Satin Black is the standard, you can choose any other standard powder coat colour from $95.
- Logistics: Prices include GST but are Ex-Factory (Tauranga). You'll need to factor in a delivery fee if you aren't picking it up yourself.
A Quick "Heads Up" on Automation
Because these gates are "Economy" models designed specifically for manual use, the frames may not have the internal reinforced mounting points typically required for the "push and pull" force of electronic rams.
