External Antenna

This enhanced antenna is compatible with all TMT gate automation systems, and some garage doors, receivers, and various other devices that utilize the 433MHz or 433.92MHz radio frequency band.

The antenna can assist in resolving problems caused by decreased transmitter range due to installation methods, such as having a receiver positioned behind a metal fence, brick pillar, metal box, or other factors that diminish the range.

Compatible with the Terrier, Mastiff, Papillon, or Boxer models of automation.

On the control boards for these models there is a small 2 terminal connector block that says 'ANT' and 'GND. Disconnect the existing copper aerial from it, and connect this one.

You can thread the cable outside the control box and place it on a post or similar position.

NOTE: You can only have one antenna fitted at a time. If two antenna are fitted in tamdem this could lead to signal bounce. When installing to control board remove the factory fitted internal antenna wiring first before installing new antenna - note the signal and ground wire orientation prior to removing the existing one so you get the new one correct.
