EasyGate's Telescopic Sliding NZ Made Gates are a smart solution for all properties with limited space for the gate to retract into when open .

 This type of slider consists of two or more panels that slide on parallel tracks and automatically stack behind one another when opened. The advantages are they require roughly half to one-third of the space of a traditional single-panel sliding gate, making them ideal for driveways with limited side space.

 

The secret in the Easygate design is our hidden cable and pulley system integrated within the top tube profile, this allows for smooth reliable operation and reduces the risk of long-term wear from environmental conditions. By removing the cables installed at ground level, EasyGate Telescopic gates are far more appealing to the eye, easier to install and to automate than conventional Telescopic gates.

Below is a quick breakdown of the space requirements for a few common driveway sizes:

Equation:  The driveway Post Gap divided by 2 plus 500 mm

  • 3.0m Post Gap: Needs 2.0m of return space in the same plane as the driveway.
  • 4.0m Post Gap: Needs 2.5m of return space.
  • 5.0m Post Gap: Needs 3.0m of return space.
  • 6.0m Post Gap: Needs 3.5m of return space.

The "Divide by 2 + 500mm" rule is a handy way to quickly check if a telescopic gate will fit where a standard single slider won't.
